The man arrested in the early hours of this Sunday in La Coruña for an alleged crime of domestic violence, after an altercation in public with his two children, has been released, although with a restraining order regarding them.
This has been confirmed by judicial sources consulted by Europa Press, after his appearance this Sunday at the Court of Instruction number 5, located in the square of the same name.
The police intervention occurred around 2:20 a.m., shortly after the individual was involved in an incident on the street, where he was accompanied by his children.
The man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of domestic violence, in addition to another for resisting and disobeying authority at the time of the arrest, and a third against traffic safety, when he attempted to flee in his car.
In fact, sources from the National Police have indicated that, supposedly, the detainee had tried to run over one of his children with the vehicle.
The agents finally managed to subdue him and proceed with his arrest. At the same time, an investigation has been initiated to clarify in detail what happened.
