The High Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has annulled six sanction records totaling 547,520 euros imposed on Cabify and three of its partners in the VTC business, related to an alleged illegal transfer of workers, according to sources familiar with the case confirmed to Europa Press.
As published this Wednesday by "El Periódico", the TSJC relieves the companies from having to face these sanctions, notified by the Labor Inspection in March 2021, considering that the Generalitat exceeded the maximum legal deadline by 17 days to send the companies both the infringement records and the resolution to close the sanctioning file.
From the Department of Business and Labor, the department responsible for the Labor Inspection, they have indicated to Europa Press that they already have the ruling issued by the TSJC and that at this moment "they have the ruling and are studying it".
