The international airport of the Region of Murcia activated a security protocol this Tuesday after receiving a bomb warning on a Ryanair plane coming from Manchester (United Kingdom) that had landed at the Murcian facilities. The 114 passengers and the seven crew members have left the aircraft and are being subjected to security checks, while the personnel in charge of the operation inspect the plane to determine whether there is any real threat.
The Government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Francisco Lucas, reported the activation of the operation through his social networks, where he confirmed that the 121 occupants of the plane had disembarked and that the security checks are continuing.

Los 114 pasajeros y los 7 tripulantes han desembarcado y están siendo sometidos a un control de seguridad.
En estos momentos, se está inspeccionando el avión.
In the face of the situation, a crisis committee has been activated at the airport to coordinate the response to the alert and the actions of the services involved.
Inspection of the plane and checks on passengers
According to the information provided by Lucas, the protocol was activated after the plane coming from Manchester landed in Murcia. Once the passengers and crew had disembarked, the security teams began the corresponding checks.
"The 114 passengers and the 7 crew members have disembarked and are being subjected to a security check," said the Government delegate, who also confirmed that the plane is being inspected.
For the moment, no finding of any explosive device has been reported, nor has the truthfulness of the threat that triggered the activation of the device been confirmed.
The warning was received after ten in the morning
According to Emergency sources, the Ryanair control chief in Murcia reported the threat to 112 after 10:00 a.m. The alert led to the mobilization of firefighters, ambulances, Civil Guard agents, and National Police officers, deployed to deal with any incident during the plane's arrival.
Explosive ordnance disposal specialists (TEDAX) are taking part in the checking work to determine whether there is any device on board. The inspection is being carried out after the occupants have disembarked and under the security protocol activated at the airport.
The aircraft was covering the connection between Manchester and Murcia, a route operated by Ryanair. So far, the authorities have not specified the origin of the threat nor have they reported any personal incidents related to the operation.
