The spokesperson of the PSRM-PSOE, Isabel Gadea, has stated that "the management model of the Popular Party in the Region of Murcia has been sentenced to prison" after the Supreme Court's ruling that imposes three years in prison on former regional president Pedro Antonio Sánchez for crimes of prevarication and documentary falsification in the known 'Auditorium case'.
According to Gadea, "the PP model is exhausted: former president Pedro Antonio Sánchez, convicted. His political son, Fernando López Miras, is responsible for the plot of the prostheses of the Murcian Health Service. And Ramón Luis Valcárcel is pending trial and will sit in the dock for the case of the Escombreras desalination plant," as indicated by the socialist formation.
For the spokesperson of the PSRM-PSOE, "these are the fruits of thirty years of PP governments. There are too many cases, too many questions, and too many years," she emphasized.
In this line, she stressed that "The Region of Murcia needs to regenerate for the good of those of us who live in this land. We deserve more," thus concluding her assessment of the political situation in the Community.
