The first vice president and minister of Economy, Carlos Cuerpo, has confirmed this Wednesday in Congress that the new aid decree against the inflationary crisis derived from the conflict in the Middle East will be approved by the Council of Ministers next Tuesday, September 29.
During the session of control to the Government, the head of Economy has announced the entry into force of this new support package before several of the measures aimed at the productive sectors that were part of previous initiatives expire in October.
In these days, Cuerpo and the minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, have conveyed to the agri-food industry the intention of the Executive to maintain support for the sector in light of the impact of the war in Iran beyond September 30, the date on which the actions included in the comprehensive response plan to the Middle East crisis cease to be in effect.
The vice president has also recently met with representatives of the industrial and energy sector, as well as with social agents, to analyze and specify the anti-crisis measures.
