The credit rating agency Inbonis has incorporated Steven Pringle as the new head of coverage and analysis of private credit, according to the firm itself.

Until this year, Pringle held the position of head of Asia-Pacific at the analysis firm Gresb. Previously, he held managerial roles at Pindan Capital and took his first steps in the financial sector at Deutsche Bank, where he worked in structured financing alongside European fund managers.

This appointment is part of the strategic plan presented by Inbonis, with which the agency expects to issue 2,000 new ratings of European 'midcaps' in the next two to three years and to reach around 3,500 ratings issued by 2028.

Currently, the agency has a staff of about 35 professionals and plans to increase its team to nearly 50 people in the short to medium term. Its non-executive chairman is José Antonio Álvarez, current vice president of Banco Santander.

Inbonis is registered with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and recognized by the Eurosystem as an External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI). The firm defines itself as a European reference agency for SMEs and 'midcaps', with the aim of promoting the integration of capital markets in Europe.
