The Leonardo Hotels chain communicated this Friday that at the end of October it will temporarily close its Leonardo Hotel Torremolinos Costa del Sol establishment in order to carry out a complete renovation of all its facilities. The company specified in a note that the reopening of the complex is set for May 2027.
The improvement work will extend to all areas of the hotel, which has 398 rooms and was added to the company’s portfolio last April, with the aim of updating the infrastructure ahead of the 2027 summer season and aligning the property with the brand’s standards.
This hotel, arranged over eight floors, offers among its services an outdoor pool and another heated indoor one, a gym, restaurant, areas intended for the holding of corporate events and a rooftop with a 'sky bar' from which the Mediterranean Sea can be seen.
With this project, the group consolidates its commitment to the province of Málaga, where it also manages the Leonardo Hotel Fuengirola Costa del Sol, a hotel of 184 rooms acquired by the company in 2022.
