Oryzon Genomics closed the first half of 2026 with losses of 1,367,914 euros, which represents a reduction of 11.5% compared to the "red numbers" recorded in the same period of the previous year, according to what the company communicated this Monday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
The operating result at the end of the first half of the fiscal year was -3,125,299 euros, above the -2,933,212 euros recorded in the first six months of 2025, which implies an increase of 6.5%. In parallel, revenue soared by 106%, reaching 8,692,394 euros, to which additional income of 643,746 euros was added.
In the expense chapter, the company recorded provisions of 210,969 euros, personnel costs of 2,012,151 euros, and another 10,175,703 euros corresponding to operating expenses. In total, the accumulated cost volume in the semester reached 12,398,823 euros, an increase of 74.5% year-on-year.
The net worth of the biotechnology company rose at the end of June to 119.7 million euros, compared to 117.8 million euros a year earlier, representing an annual growth of 1.6%.
