The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration and also Government spokesperson, Elma Saiz, highlighted this Monday that Spain "broke all employment creation barriers again in April".
Saiz has highlighted that "the labor market exceeds 22.1 million Social Security affiliates on average and furthermore the original series has added almost 224,000 affiliates compared to the month of March, which has been the third best April month since records exist".
In seasonally adjusted terms, the head of Inclusion has stressed that Social Security continues "well above" the threshold of 22 million reached last month and has now strung together 63 consecutive months generating employment.
The minister also stressed that "in addition, daily registrations have also exceeded 22.2 million during this month, levels unimaginable until recently," and she valued the "historic" figures of female affiliation, with almost 10.5 million workers, as well as the records in affiliation of foreigners and self-employed workers.
Lastly, Saiz has remarked that the labor market in Spain "continues to be the locomotive of Europe", and has emphasized that "it does so with quality". In his opinion, "we have a more modern, higher quality labor market. Stability is at historic highs while temporality and precariousness are reduced".
