The variable capital investment company (sicav) Gesprisa Inversiones, controlled by the founder of Pronovias, Alberto Palatchi, maintains the leadership of the sicav listing in Spain until September, with assets under management of 1.797 billion euros and a profitability of 19.43%, ranking as the ninth most profitable, according to data from Vdos consulted by Europa Press.
The portfolio of Gesprisa is made up of stocks such as Micron, SanDisk, Shell, Novo Nordisk, or Deutsche Bank, according to the report for the first half of 2026 registered with the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Palatchi carried out the merger of Gesprisa Inversiones and Herprisa Inversiones, his two sicavs, in July 2021, an operation that propelled Gesprisa to the top positions by volume of assets managed in Spain.
In second position is Torrenova de Inversiones, managed by Banca March, which closed September with an asset volume of 1.308 billion euros and a profitability of 1.70%.
This sicav maintains in its equity portfolio shares of companies such as Ferrovial, Nvidia, ING, Danone, Vinci, and JP Morgan, according to the report for the first half of 2026 sent to the CNMV.
The third, fourth, and fifth positions correspond to three sicavs linked to the Del Pino family, founder of Ferrovial. If their figures are added, the combined assets amount to 2.761 billion euros, thus surpassing the volume of Palatchi's sicav.
In detail, Chart Inversiones totals up to September an asset of 958 million euros and a profitability of 5.74%; Turqueta Gestión --which climbs positions to the current position-- manages 908 million with a profitability of 7.62%; and Allocation manages 895 million, with a return of 5.66%.
Next are Lluc Valores (720 million), also managed by Banca March; Fomento de Ahorros e Inversiones (718 million), the sicav of the founder of Alfonso X El Sabio University, Jesús Núñez Velázquez; and Soixa (650 million), linked to the owners of Ebro Foods.
Closing the 'ranking' of the ten largest by assets are Morinvest (627 million), of the businesswoman Alicia Koplowitz, and Cartera Bellver (613 million), also managed by Banca March.
