Turner, a subsidiary in the United States of the Spanish group ACS, has been chosen to undertake the renovation of the facilities of Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. (BPMI) in Monroeville, in the state of Pennsylvania (United States), according to a statement released this Wednesday by the company.

The company details that preconstruction work has already been underway and that the construction phase is expected to begin in late 2026, with an estimated duration through the beginning of 2029.

Within the project --which will provide "flexible and efficient" spaces, designed to adapt to the evolution of business needs and support its long-term growth-- Turner will work on more than 41,000 square meters of surface area to shape a "modern and functional" work environment, which will allow the expansion of BPMI’s operations, as stated in the note.

"We are committed to delivering high-quality facilities that meet BPMI’s needs and provide an exceptional environment for its employees," said Turner’s commercial director, Chris DiLorenzo, who said he was "proud" to collaborate with the company on this "important" project.

Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. acts as the prime contractor for the US Navy’s Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and participates in the design, purchase, quality control, and delivery of essential components for propulsion plants, intended for aircraft carriers, submarines, and prototype propulsion plants of the US Navy, according to what is indicated on its website.
