The Swiss bank UBS has increased its presence in the capital of eDreams Odigeo, going from 2.805% to 3.280%, according to the latest statements registered with the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and consulted by Europa Press.

Taking as a reference the closing price of this Friday of the online travel agency, set at 5.54 euros per share after falling 2.12%, the total number of shares in the hands of the financial entity reaches an approximate value of 20.47 million euros.

The share package consists of about 3.7 million shares.

In detail, the Swiss entity indirectly controls 3.269% through voting rights associated with shares, which is equivalent to about 3.7 million shares, while the remaining 0.011% is held through financial instruments representing 12,353 shares.

UBS concluded the first half of the 2026 fiscal year with a net profit attributed of 5.840 billion dollars (5.133 billion euros), which represents an increase of 42.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. Following these results, the Swiss bank has announced its intention to launch a new share buyback program in the next twelve months for a maximum of 3.000 billion dollars (2.636 billion euros).

Between January and June, UBS's net revenue rose to 27.943 billion dollars (24.559 billion euros), a 13.3% year-on-year increase, while provisions for credit losses rose to 121 million dollars (106 million euros), an increase of 72.8%.
