YPF, the Argentine oil company controlled by 51% by the State, has communicated that it will proceed with the early redemption of the total capital in circulation of its negotiable obligations Class XXXV, setting the payment date for next August 27.
According to the notification submitted to the National Securities Commission (CNV), these securities were issued on February 27, 2025, with a total nominal value of 139,894,182 dollars (120,982,238 euros) and earn a fixed interest rate of 6.25%. The initial maturity was scheduled for February 27, 2027.
The company has detailed that this Friday, August 7, it has launched the issuance of additional negotiable obligations Class XLIII, through which an in-kind integration of Class XXXV securities for 5,427,186 dollars (4,693,498 euros) will be received. Once the operation is completed, the amount in circulation of the Class XXXV obligations will be 134,466,996 dollars (116,288,740 euros).
The redemption will include the nominal value plus the accumulated interest. In particular, the amount to be paid will be one dollar for each dollar of nominal value of the current and circulating obligations, to which interest of 0.0158 dollars (0.014 euros) per dollar will be added. The accrual period will extend from May 27, 2026, inclusive, to August 27, 2026, exclusive.
The payment will be made through Caja de Valores, which will act as the payment agent for all individuals registered as holders of Class XXXV obligations as of August 26. From that moment, the redeemed securities will cease to generate interest.
