EH Bildu has presented several initiatives in the Basque Parliament and in the General Assemblies of Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa with the aim that the discounts currently applied in public transport continue in force during 2027 "and that their cost does not fall on the users".

The sovereigntist coalition describes as "insufficient" the agreement made public this Friday by the Euskadi Transport Authority (ATE), "which proposes maintaining only a general discount of 20% on the personalized Bat, Barik and Mugi passes in the event that state aid disappears".

For this reason, EH Bildu has promoted these initiatives both in the Basque chamber and in the General Assemblies of the three historical territories so that the current discounts are extended for an additional year.
