The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) of Bolivia has given the green light to the extradition to the United States of the colonel of the Bolivian Armed Forces Henry Richard Crespo Guzmán, wanted by American Justice for his alleged ties to drug trafficking.

"The Full Chamber of the TSJ rules declaring the extradition request of the citizen Henry Richard Crespo Guzmán, of Bolivian nationality, to be admissible, so that he may be handed over immediately in accordance with legal formalities, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Embassy of the United States of America," states the judicial order collected by the Bolivian newspaper 'El Deber'.

The military was detained on August 29 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, in the center of the country, in compliance with the extradition request made by Washington, and subsequently entered preventive detention while the high court analyzed the case, until now resolving in favor of his delivery.
