The Metropolitan Police of London reported this Sunday that a total of 325 people were arrested during the demonstration held on Saturday in the British capital in support of the organization Palestine Action, considered a terrorist group and banned by the Government of the United Kingdom.

Of those detained, 320 are charged with showing support for a proscribed organization under the Terrorism Act, according to the police force detailed in a message circulated on its social media profiles. Most of those arrested carried signs or banners with the slogan "I am against genocide. I support Palestine Action".

The protest was organized by the collective Defendamos a Nuestros Jurados and took place outside the United States Embassy in London and in front of the American Consulate in Edinburgh, despite the fact that the current regulations classify as a crime the explicit support for this group within the framework of anti-terrorism legislation.

Palestine Action was declared illegal in June 2025. In February, the High Court of Justice of England and Wales annulled the decision, considering it "disproportionate", but in June the Court of Appeal overturned that ruling and upheld the ban.

So far this year, the authorities have recorded 3,867 arrests linked to terrorism offenses, of which 94% are related to support for Palestine Action. In the twelve months prior to its outlawing, 234 arrests for terrorist activities were counted.

Next November 4, the Supreme Court is scheduled to rule on the appeal filed against the designation of Palestine Action as a terrorist organization, in a proceeding closely followed by various civil rights defense organizations.
