The Russian authorities reported this Sunday the neutralization of more than 250 drones launched by the Ukrainian Army against various points in the country, with no victims or material damages communicated so far, in the context of the war that began in February 2022 following the invasion order signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian Ministry of Defense detailed in a statement disseminated on social media that its air defense systems have managed to intercept 258 devices in the last twelve hours over several Russian regions, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea, and the Crimean Peninsula, annexed in 2014.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force indicated that Russian forces have launched 108 drones against Ukrainian territory in recent hours and specified that 82 have been shot down. However, it acknowledged impacts in eleven locations and warned that "the attack continues, as there are still drones in the airspace."

In this context, no attacks have occurred against the capitals of both countries, Moscow and Kiev, in recent hours, while a new displacement of representatives from the United States continues with the aim of trying to reactivate a peace process that allows for an end to the conflict.
