The Russian Army has carried out a wide-ranging attack against the energy infrastructure of the Ukrainian region of Odesa that, for the moment, has left a balance of 13 people injured, one of them in serious condition, in addition to causing an almost total blackout that has been gradually restored in the last hours.
According to the military report disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Russian Armed Forces carried out this afternoon "a combined airstrike against the thermal power plant of Odesa and seven electrical substations," located in Usatove, Tsentropolit, Artsikh, Novoodesskaya, Mayaki, Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi, and Karolino-Bugaz.
The President of Ukraine, Volodmir Zelenski, has condemned what he has described as a "brutal attack," which has also affected "residential buildings and the port" of the city of Odesa, the capital of the province. The head of the Ukrainian regional administration, Oleg Kiper, has confirmed the figure of 13 injured, of which six have had to be hospitalized and one is in critical condition.
