The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, held a meeting on Monday in New York with the High Representative of the EU's Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
The community official is in the American city these days to participate in the annual session of the UN General Assembly, an event that the Moroccan Foreign Minister is also attending.
According to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its social networks, Bourita "has held talks" with Kallas during his stay in New York.
The Estonian politician already traveled to Morocco last April, when she conveyed the support of the Twenty-Seven for the autonomy plan promoted by Rabat for Western Sahara, in a context where bilateral relations remain conditioned by the Ceuta crisis.
