Three people have lost their lives and three others have been injured after several attacks by Ukrainian forces in the Lugansk province, territory currently controlled by Russia, according to the president of the self-proclaimed People's Republic of Lugansk, Leonid Pasechnik.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to attack civilians: three people have died and three more have been injured," Pasechnik reported on social media.

Among the fatalities is an elderly woman who died in Severodonetsk after being hit by a drone, as well as a man who lost his life in another attack recorded in Troitski. The third deceased is the driver of a vehicle hit by a Ukrainian projectile in the town of Industria, in the Antratsitovski district.

The pro-Russian leader also pointed out recent impacts in Starobelsk, Lisichansk, Slavianoserbsk, Novoaidar, Perevalsk, Troitsk, Antratsit, and Novopskov during the last day.

In parallel, one person has died and five more have been injured as a result of a "massive" airstrike attributed to Ukrainian forces against the Russian city of Saint Petersburg.

This was communicated by the governor of the city, Alexander Beglov, in a message disseminated on social media in which he detailed that the attack was carried out with military drones and that the injured have been hospitalized for medical attention.

According to Beglov, the Ukrainian offensive has also caused damage to up to a dozen apartment blocks and two single-family homes. Residents of the affected areas, who were evacuated during the night, are already returning to their homes, while repair work continues.

For their part, emergency services continue to work to extinguish the fires at the oil terminal in Saint Petersburg, the oil storage base "Ruchyi," and in industrial warehouses in the Kolpino district.
