At least two Palestinian civilians have died on the night of this Sunday after being shot by Israeli forces in different areas of the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian official agency Wafa, which cites medical sources from the enclave.
One of the victims has lost their life in an area located outside of Israel's direct control in the central part of Khan Younis, in the south of the Strip, as a result of the injuries caused by the gunfire from Israeli forces, as communicated by the Nasser Medical Complex to the aforementioned agency.
In parallel, another Palestinian has died, also from fire from the Hebrew Army, in the area of Al Tawam, in the north of the city of Gaza, according to information provided by the ambulance and emergency services operating in the territory.
With these two deaths, the toll of Palestinians who have died since the morning of this Sunday rises to four across the Gaza Strip, where another twelve people have also been injured with varying degrees of severity.
The authorities of Gaza, under the control of Hamas, have updated this Sunday to 1,417 the number of dead and to 4,964 the number of injured due to the Israeli attacks recorded since the aforementioned ceasefire, including two deceased and eleven injured in the last 24 hours. To these figures are added 834 bodies recovered in areas from which Israeli troops had previously withdrawn.
The Gaza Ministry of Health has also emphasized in a statement disseminated on social media that since the beginning of the offensive launched by Israel after the attacks of October 7, 2023, 74,018 dead and 175,079 injured have been recorded. The agency has also warned that there are still victims in the streets and under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Israeli bombings.
