The 'popular' leader María Salom Coll, known for having been in the last legislature the senator with the largest real estate assets by bringing together around ten properties, eight premises and twenty parking spaces, will not finally be part of the electoral lists for the general elections next November 29.
The Official State Gazette (BOE) has released this week the provisional candidacies that the different parties have registered for the Congress and the Senate, and in that list does not appear the name of María Salom Coll, who in the previous legislature served as deputy spokesperson of the PP and years ago held the position of Government delegate in the Balearic Islands.
According to the latest data compiled by Europa Press, the 266 senators who made up the Upper House before the dissolution of the Cortes Generales accumulated together a real estate wealth of 529 homes, given that 56% of the parliamentarians declared themselves to be owners of more than one residence.
Within that group, the senator who stood out for the volume of properties was María Salom Coll, whose declaration of assets and income detailed that she owns up to ten homes, eight premises and twenty parking spaces in Mallorca.
Regarding the urban real estate assets, Salom has listed in her declaration a premises, an apartment with storage room and parking, four commercial premises, twenty parking spaces and a property with two premises and four apartments.
As for the assets that appear in the name of a company, community or entity not listed on the Stock Exchange in which the declarant holds shares or stakes, Salom has included a premises, a house, a property with three apartments, a premises and a garage, and a house.
In this context, the PP senator declared at the start of the legislature an income of 22,932.22 euros from rentals.
