The general secretary of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, denounced this Saturday that the PSOE would have diverted the resources intended for the maintenance and modernization of the rail network to "putting their friends in, putting their lovers in, and taking 'bribes'.
At a campaign rally held in the Carmel neighborhood of Barcelona, and directly alluding to the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, he proclaimed: "Pedro, we are going to send you home next November 29 so that the Spanish, once and for all, can see politicians who dedicate themselves to truly managing the public."
Garriga argues that the PSOE has damaged public health by having "opened it up to half the world," and argues that the money planned to strengthen the healthcare system would have been allocated "to third countries or to create more public bodies in which to place their party friends."
He also held the policies of the Partido Socialista responsible for the 90% increase in the number of deaths on the waiting list for surgical procedures in Catalonia in 2025 compared with 2015.
Criticism of dependency management
On the social front, he stated that "more people die waiting for help with dependency and waiting for an appointment, a surgical operation, than when the Partido Socialista came to power. This is the balance sheet of the Partido Socialista's management."
Likewise, he branded the actions of the Executive under Pedro Sánchez as profoundly corrupt and he stated that "his management kills, his corruption kills".
