Formula 1 returns this Sunday to Interlagos to contest the São Paulo Grand Prix. The race will start at 18:00 hours in mainland Spain, four hours after the start time scheduled at the Brazilian circuit. In the Canary Islands, the lights will go out at 17:00.

The event will be contested over 71 laps at the José Carlos Pace Autodrome, one of the circuit’s historic layouts on the calendar. The day does not include a sprint race, so the schedule follows the usual format of practice sessions, qualifying, and the Grand Prix.

The São Paulo Grand Prix can be followed live in Spain through DAZN F1. Movistar Plus+ subscribers who have the package that includes this channel will also be able to watch it.

DAZN F1’s schedule includes pre-race coverage from 16:00 and the live broadcast of the event starting at 17:55, five minutes before the scheduled start time.

Alonso and Sainz, on the Interlagos grid

Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz will be among the drivers who will contest the Brazilian race. Saturday’s qualifying session, held under rain, placed Lando Norris on pole position, ahead of George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.

The final grid is also conditioned by the penalties applied to several drivers. The race result may be relevant in the final stretch of a season in which Kimi Antonelli has already secured the world title, according to the information published by Formula 1.
