The winery Marimar Estate, driven by Marimar Torres, fourth generation of the Torres family, commemorates four decades of winemaking activity in the Russian River Valley, in the Sonoma region (California), where it cultivates around 30 hectares distributed in two owned vineyards, as detailed by Familia Torres in a statement released this Wednesday.
Coinciding with this anniversary, Marimar Estate begins a new phase with Cristina Torres at the helm as general director, embodying the generational change of the winemaking project, in which wines of chardonnay, pinot noir, albariño, godello, and tempranillo are produced.
Since 2017, both the winery and its vineyards have sustainability certifications and have been awarded numerous accolades, including several ratings above 95 points in prominent specialized publications in the sector.
