The Socialist Group in the Andalusian Parliament has submitted a series of written questions addressed to the Consejería de Cultura, Patrimonio Histórico y Deporte of the Junta de Andalucía, focused on the actions and projects related to Andalusians who were victims of Nazism.

These documents, to which Europa Press has had access, bear the signatures of the socialist deputies Francisco Cuenca and Esteban Morales and are dated October 21.

First, the parliamentarians ask the Consejería de Cultura whether the Andalusian Council of Government plans to "incorporate into the draft Budget of the Junta de Andalucía for 2027 an identifiable allocation for projects on deportation to the Nazi camps, as well as for victims of the Nazi genocide linked to Andalusia".

PSOE-A requests that it be specified "what amount, budget program, beneficiaries and call schedule are contemplated", and whether said funding will be structured "through a specific line or through a differentiated section within existing aid" and, "if not, what the reasons are".

In another of the questions, Cuenca and Morales are interested in "what measures the Junta has adopted or plans to adopt to facilitate research on Andalusian people deported to the Nazi camps, access to the archives under its responsibility, the preservation of testimonies and documents, and support for their families".

Likewise, they call on the regional Executive to clarify "what cooperation actions with other administrations and national or foreign archives have been carried out, with what resources and results", and "what support the Junta offers to guide families in requesting recognitions and reparations before the competent bodies, without replacing state powers".

Another block of questions is directed at the educational sphere. The Socialist Group asks "what actions the Junta de Andalucía has carried out, and which it has planned, to address in educational centers the history of Andalusian people deported to the Nazi camps, as well as the victims of the Nazi genocide".

In this regard, they ask that it be specified "what teaching materials, activities and teacher training actions have been promoted, what budget has been executed and how many centers and teachers have participated, by province", as well as "what collaboration has been established or is planned to be established with memorial organizations and universities".

The socialist deputies also ask whether "Does the Junta de Andalucía plan to promote an Andalusian Network of Educational Centers on Exile and Deportation, on a voluntary basis, that allows coordinating and giving continuity to educational projects on this matter?", a question they have likewise submitted to the Consejería de Cultura, Patrimonio Histórico y Deporte.

In the area of funding, the Socialist Group asks "which regional calls have made it possible to finance research, tribute or dissemination projects on deportation to Nazi camps and the victims of the Nazi genocide linked to Andalucía", and requests that it be specified "what amount, opening and resolution dates, access requirements and eligible expenses were established in each call".

Likewise, the PSOE-A wants to know "how many projects relating to this matter were requested, granted and denied, by province, and what were the reasons for denial", in addition to "what actions does the Junta plan to improve access for small entities and municipalities with fewer technical resources".

Finally, among the questions registered by Francisco Cuenca and Esteban Morales is the one relating to "what amounts has the Junta de Andalucía allocated --indicating fiscal year, initial and final credit allocated to these actions, recognized obligations and payments made, identifying the budget program, the funded purpose and the provincial distribution-- to actions specifically related to the memory of Andalusian people deported to Nazi camps, as well as to the victims of the Nazi genocide linked with Andalucía", and, finally, "what actions have been funded from general lines of democratic memory and for what amount".
