CHA-Frente Amplio Aragón has announced the people who make up its candidacy for the Congress of Deputies for the Zaragoza constituency for the general elections on the upcoming November 29. The list will be headed by Marina Rodríguez, while the number two will be Jesús García Usón.

"We are very clear about the objective: to bring the voice of Aragón to Madrid," Rodríguez has pointed out, who has highlighted "having achieved a unitary candidacy, which combines youth and experience, listening to what the Aragonese people asked for."

The head of the CHA-Frente Amplio Aragón list for Zaragoza has reaffirmed her commitment to "work in defense of our territory, our culture, our languages, our landscapes, our rivers, our mountains, and our people, to achieve an Aragón in which we can live."

For his part, Jesús García Usón has defended "for hope and mobilization against the advance of the right," taking Lula's victory in Brazil as an example. He has insisted that the candidacy aims to embody "the hope of the people who want to fight for their rights against resignation" and to bring a firm position in defense of the social majority to Congress.

García Usón has also emphasized the coalition's support for mobilizations in defense of labor rights, including the general strike called for November 11, and has demanded wages that allow for facing the real cost of living, with special attention to housing and the shopping basket.

At the same time, the candidate has warned that the increase in housing prices and liberal policies are increasingly deteriorating the living conditions of the working class.

In this line, he has pointed out that Aragón exemplifies the consequences of right-wing policies, especially in the housing sector, where, in his view, a market logic dominates that benefits the most privileged sectors over those who need effective guarantees to access a decent home.

García Usón has also defended the need for measures such as legislation that ensures the right to housing, the protection of labor rights, a minimum pension equivalent to the minimum interprofessional wage, and the strengthening of public services.

"The important thing is the policies, not the politicians," García Usón has pointed out, who has assured that Frente Amplio aspires to have enough strength in Madrid to promote measures that expand rights and set limits to the abuses suffered by working people and the most vulnerable sectors of society.
