Three former workers of Más Madrid in the Congress of Deputies have filed an internal complaint against the deputy Tesh Sidi, current parliamentary spokesperson for the party and number two on the candidacy of the Frente Amplio por Madrid for the general elections on the upcoming November 29, for alleged "abusive, hostile, and degrading" behaviors during her employment relationship. The complainants, who performed technical and advisory functions in the Lower House, describe a work environment marked by personal contempt, contradictory instructions, communications outside of working hours, and workdays that, they claim, greatly exceeded the established limits. The complaint, reported by La Razón, has been forwarded to the guarantee bodies of the involved political formations, which must determine if there are any disciplinary responsibilities.
The documents were submitted last Tuesday, October 20, to the Ethical Code and Statutes Committee of Más Madrid and a day later, on October 21, to the internal mechanisms of Movimiento Sumar, according to the complainants. The former collaborators request that the behaviors attributed to Sidi be investigated and that, if proven, the corresponding measures be taken. The complaint coincides with the appointment of the deputy as number two on the list of the Frente Amplio por Madrid, headed by Emilio Delgado, also a member of Más Madrid. For the moment, these are accusations made in an internal procedure and not facts proven through a resolution.
The former workers report excessive workdays and a hostile work environment
The former advisors describe in their writings a professional environment that they qualify as detrimental to their personal and work well-being. According to their account, the tasks were carried out in a climate of constant tension, with instructions that frequently changed and difficulties in organizing the work. They also report alleged episodes of contempt, offensive comments towards colleagues, and professional demands outside of the established hours.
According to the information published by La Razón and Vozpópuli, the complainants claim that the working hours exceeded 37.5 hours per week and that they received work messages outside their usual hours, sometimes with the expectation of receiving immediate responses. They also question the internal organization of the team, which came to use between 20 and 30 Telegram groups to coordinate the tasks of six people, a dynamic that, they argue, complicated the performance of their functions.
The complainants assert that the situations described had consequences in their personal and professional lives. According to La Razón, one of the former collaborators needed medical leave for anxiety and psychological care, circumstances that the newspaper claims to have verified through clinical documentation. The signatories also question the high turnover of staff in Sidi's parliamentary team and point out that during 2025 up to five people started and finished their work as advisors to the deputy. These circumstances are part of the allegations whose relationship with the reported behaviors will need to be examined by the competent authorities.
Más Madrid defends the confidentiality of its internal procedures
The complaint also questions the response of the management of Más Madrid, as the former workers claim to have previously conveyed their complaints to different party officials during 2025 without any disciplinary measures being taken against Sidi. The complainants maintain that they requested help to face the situations they describe and believe that the party should have intervened before the submission of formal writings.
From Más Madrid they have defended the functioning of their internal mechanisms and have insisted that these procedures must be processed with guarantees and confidentiality. "All writings are resolved in independent and guaranteeing bodies, with procedures that ensure anonymity and confidentiality", official sources from the party have stated, who have avoided confirming the specific content of the complaint. "If it had been presented, its content would not be known, so that the bodies work with guarantees and confidentiality", they added.
For their part, the complainants have requested that the internal bodies act independently and allow those affected to provide documentation, testimonies, and evidence to clarify the facts. The statutes of Más Madrid contemplate possible sanctions for hostile behaviors, derogatory expressions, and other violations of their ethical norms, although any disciplinary measure will depend on the substantiation of the reported behaviors and the respect for the guarantees of the procedure.
The complaint arrives in the midst of the electoral pre-campaign of November 29
The submission of the documents occurs at a moment of special political relevance for Tesh Sidi, who during the legislature has been one of the main references of Más Madrid in the parliamentary group of Sumar and who now holds the second position on the candidacy of the Frente Amplio por Madrid, immediately after Emilio Delgado. His designation came after the decision of the Minister of Health and leader of Más Madrid, Mónica García, not to run in the general elections and to focus on the Madrid regional elections of 2027.
The case also comes after several months of internal tensions in Más Madrid, marked by disagreements between the sectors close to Mónica García and Emilio Delgado regarding leadership and the organization of the party. Those differences were resolved with a distribution of electoral responsibilities that placed García as the candidate for the Community of Madrid and Delgado as the head of the list for Congress.
To these circumstances is added the judicial investigation opened against the party's Secretary of Organization, Gabriel Ortega, for alleged irregularities in the primary process of Alcorcón. Ortega is summoned to testify on October 28 as an investigated party for an alleged crime of document forgery related to the management of the membership census, facts that still need to be clarified judicially.
With the general elections of November 29 getting closer, the complaint against Tesh Sidi introduces a new issue into the internal affairs of Más Madrid and the Frente Amplio. The former workers demand that their accusations be investigated and possible responsibilities be clarified, while the outcome of the procedure will depend on the evidence provided, the allegations of the parties, and the conclusions of the internal bodies.
