The Cortes of Castilla-La Mancha have adhered to the three days of official mourning decreed by the governments of Spain and Castilla-La Mancha as a result of the Urda railway accident, and the institutional flags are already flying at half-mast at the parliamentary headquarters of the Convento de San Gil in Toledo.
The period of official mourning proposed by the Presidencies of the governments of Spain and of the Junta of Castilla-La Mancha extends between 00.00 hours on this 29 October and 24.00 hours on the 31st.
In this context, the official flags of the regional Parliament in Toledo remain at half-mast, while those located inside the building bear a black mourning ribbon, as do the logos of the institution’s official communication channels, the regional Parliament reported in a press release.
