Amper has signed an agreement with the Compañía Española de Financiación del Desarrollo (Cofides) under which it will contribute 50 million euros, through the Fondo para Inversiones en el Exterior (FIEX), intended for the acquisition of Next Gen Critical Comms, the company that owns 100% of the capital of Teltronic.
According to what Amper communicated this Wednesday to the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), with this financing it is expected that the purchase operation can be completed in the coming days, after the company had already reported this transaction last May and subsequently in June.
The injection from the FIEX Fund will be structured through the taking of a 32% stake in the capital of Amper Comunicaciones Críticas y Tácticas (CCT), the Amper group firm designated to execute the acquisition of Next Gen Critical Comms.
This entry into the capital will be carried out through a capital increase in Amper CCT through cash contributions, which will be fully subscribed by the FIEX Fund through the disbursement of the aforementioned 50 million euros.
The signing of this agreement with Cofides represents one "step further in the strategic collaboration" that both entities maintain, since Cofides figures as a partner in Electrotécnica Industrial y Naval, (Elinsa), the Amper subsidiary specialized in energy management and storage solutions.
Likewise, Cofides is expected to join Offshore WindWaves soon, Amper's offshore wind subsidiary.
