The spokesperson for the CUP, Su Moreno, has criticized that the president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, was not present at the welcome event for the former councilor and deputy of Junts in the Parliament, Lluís Puig, held this Thursday in the Catalan Chamber.
"The absences of those who now boast of being the great defenders of amnesty have been felt when nine years ago they did not hesitate to side with repression," she stated in a message on 'X' collected by Europa Press.
Puig was received this Thursday afternoon by the president of the Parliament, Josep Rull, along with the members of the Table, and received applause from deputies of Junts, ERC, Comuns, and CUP, before entering the plenary, where neither Illa nor the representatives of Vox were present.
