The magistrate leading the investigation of the "Air Europa case" has decided to summon as witnesses the third vice president of the Government and minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Sara Aagesen, as well as the former parliamentary spokesperson of Sumar, Íñigo Errejón, to appear on the next November 23.

According to a provision accessed by Europa Press, Judge José María Escribano also includes in the list of witnesses Pedro Saura, who held the position of Secretary of State for Transport during José Luis Ábalos's tenure at the head of that ministry.

Judge José María Escribano keeps this case open in a court in Madrid for possible irregularities linked to the loan of 475 million euros granted to the airline in November 2020.
