The Community of Madrid will launch a special Bibliobus service this Tuesday in four municipalities that host residents evacuated due to wildfires. The route will take place between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and will offer books, educational activities, and audiovisual content.
The Community of Madrid has organized a special Bibliobus service for those affected by the wildfires who are temporarily housed in several municipalities in the region.
The route will begin this Tuesday and will pass through Sevilla la Nueva, Villamanta, Villamantilla, and Villanueva de Perales.
Books and activities for evacuated families
The Bibliobus will transport books aimed at readers of all ages to the reception centers. The programming will also include educational activities and audiovisual screenings specifically aimed at minors.
The regional government presents the initiative as a way to bring leisure and cultural options closer to people who have had to leave their homes due to the advance of the flames.
Schedules and stops of the Bibliobus
The first stop will take place at 9:00 AM in Sevilla la Nueva, at the municipal center located at number 14 on Villanueva street.
At 10:30 AM, the vehicle will arrive in Villamanta and will be set up on Barrio Nuevo street, 9. The next stop is scheduled for 12:15 PM in Villamantilla, at the facilities located on Viñas street, 9.
The route will end at the Sports Pavilion of Villanueva de Perales, located at Paseo de Castilla, 1. The Community of Madrid has not specified the exact time of arrival at this last stop in its statement.
