The PP spokesperson in Les Corts, Nando Pastor, has shown his "consternation" over the railway accident that occurred in Urda (Toledo), in which 69 people have lost their lives, and has avoided pronouncing on whether it is the time to demand political responsibilities for the disaster. Likewise, he has also not wanted to comment on the second anniversary of the dana that caused 233 deaths in the province on 29 October 2024.
"The only thing we want to express at these moments of so much pain and so much sadness is to share the pain and suffering of so many people at this time of that catastrophe without any palliative at all. That is what we want at these moments," he said before the media after the minute of silence called by the Valencian parliament in memory of the victims of the Urda accident.
When asked whether he considers it necessary to purge political responsibilities for what happened, Pastor limited himself to referring to his previous words.
Likewise, when asked about the second anniversary of the dana of 29 October 2024, he chose not to make further statements and referred to the minute of silence held this Thursday in front of the Generalitat in remembrance of the victims of the 2024 catastrophe, of the dana Adam and of the railway accident in Urda.
