Founded by two brothers in 2017, Venezianico joins Nicols' watch selection with a proposal that combines Italian design, artistic inspiration and contemporary mechanical watchmaking

Italian watchmaking finds a new space in Madrid with the arrival of Venezianico watches at Joyería Nicols. The firm, recognized for its designs inspired by the artistic and architectural heritage of Venice, becomes part of the selection of watch brands of the historic Madrid house.

An addition that brings the Spanish public closer to a different proposal within the universe of mechanical watches, where Italian tradition, innovation and contemporary design share the spotlight.

From Venice to the world: the story of two brothers
Venezianico was born in 2017 at the hands of brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli, two watchmaking enthusiasts who decided to create a brand capable of transferring the identity of their hometown to each of their designs.

Since its beginnings, the firm has found in Venice its main source of inspiration. Its Renaissance architecture, its monuments and its artistic tradition are reflected in collections that seek to tell a story beyond the measurement of time.

Even its logo has a special meaning: it is inspired by the cross that crowns the Clock Tower of St. Mark's Square, one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.

Nereide, Redentore and Arsenale: three ways of understanding watchmaking
Among the most representative collections of Venezianico stands out Nereide, its proposal for sports and diving watchmaking, characterized by robust cases, resistant materials and an aesthetic linked to the maritime universe.

For its part, Redentore represents the firm's most elegant side, with classic-inspired designs that take Venetian architecture as a reference and reinterpret its proportions from a contemporary perspective.

The Arsenale collection completes this selection with a more modern aesthetic, characterized by its geometric lines and integrated bracelets, inspired by the historic Arsenal of Venice.

Three collections that reflect Venezianico's ability to combine different styles without losing a recognizable identity.

A new generation of Italian mechanical watchmaking
One of the most interesting aspects of Venezianico is its commitment to mechanical movements and technical research.

In 2025, the firm took an important step with the presentation of the V5000 caliber, its first own mechanical movement, designed and produced in Italy. A development that reflects its ambition to recover part of Italian watchmaking tradition and move toward greater technical independence.

This combination of history, design, and innovation has allowed Venezianico to build a proposal that especially connects with those looking for watches with personality and a different narrative.

With its arrival at Joyería Nicols, a Spanish jewelry house founded in 1917 and with more than a century of history, the Italian firm expands its presence within the Spanish market and joins a selection of international brands that share the same passion for watchmaking.

The Venezianico collection can now be discovered through the Nicols website and in its boutique at Goya 12, in Madrid. Customers can explore the designs of the Italian firm, see its watches up close, and receive personalized advice to find the perfect model.
