The Catalan 'startup' Artiso, specialized in the development of an AI operating system for fashion creative teams, has completed a 'pre-seed' funding round of "more than 3 million euros", entirely in the form of equity and with the leadership of Criteria Venture Tech.
In this operation, the funds Swanlaab Venture Factory and Bynd Venture Capital have also participated, as well as the 'business angels' David Tomás --cofounder of Cyberclick-- and Nicolaj Reffstrup --founder and former CEO of GANNI--, according to the company announced this Wednesday.
The amount obtained "will accelerate the development of the operating system, expand the workforce and make it possible to accompany each client in the implementation of Artiso throughout their organization".
With this objective, the firm is incorporating new specialized profiles in fashion and technology, which will join a team "that already brings together garment technique, pattern making, design, art direction, 'motion' and 'data science'".
The CEO and cofounder, Sarah Iglesias, has underlined that her proposal consists of "a single operating system that connects each firm's taste and archive with the work of its creative teams, so that each new creation carries with it all the richness of what came before".
