CaixaBank has reached an execution rate of 71.15% in the twenty-seventh week of the share buyback program of its own shares that it announced last May for an amount of 500 million euros, according to what it notified this Friday to the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV).
During this period, the company has allocated nearly 359 million euros to the acquisition of close to 29.4 million shares of its own.
Only in the last few days, the bank has repurchased 743,453 shares for more than 8.6 million euros.
This share buyback program has a maximum duration of six months, although the bank may end it earlier if the maximum monetary amount is reached or if any circumstance were to arise that required it. BNP Paribas is acting as program manager.
The company may not, on any trading day, exceed 25% of the average daily trading volume of the shares on the trading venue where the purchase is made.
The repurchases are made in the Mercado Continuo, in DXE Europa, in Turquoise Europe and in Aquis Exchange.
