Consultia Business Travel has added the flight offer from Air Europa to Destinux, its comprehensive business travel management solution, through the integration of the airline's NDC content.

With this addition, the NDC catalog that Destinux already offered from Iberia, British Airways, American Airlines, Air France-KLM, Lufthansa, TAP Air Portugal, and Vueling is reinforced, so that companies can manage from a single environment the offer of some of the main international airlines operating under this distribution model.

The NDC standard (New Distribution Capability) allows airlines to market a broader and more flexible proposal of fares, additional services, and personalized products.

For companies, this system implies having richer content from airlines without leaving their usual management tool, maintaining control over travel policies, the traceability of bookings, and the monitoring of corporate spending.

The arrival of Air Europa confirms the consolidation of this distribution model in the airline industry and its growing role in the transformation of corporate travel. As more airlines migrate to NDC, companies and agencies are forced to update the technology with which they organize professional travel.

Consultia Business Travel attributes the agility in integrating the NDC content of major airlines to its commitment to a proprietary platform, Destinux, designed to evolve at the pace of the market and incorporate the innovations that drive airlines.

"NDC content represents a model change in airline distribution. Companies need solutions capable of integrating and evolving at the same pace as airlines to efficiently manage their travel, with the consequent savings in costs and time," says Ignacio González, general director of Consultia Business Travel.

González emphasizes that the development of proprietary technology enables the company to quickly adapt to this transition and continuously add new functionalities, optimizing the daily work of clients and employees, who can access "on a single screen" the entire air portfolio.

The company anticipates that the NDC model will continue to gain relevance in the coming years and considers that having platforms capable of quickly adjusting to the changes promoted by airlines will be increasingly decisive for the management of corporate travel.
