The Valencian cooperative Consum has reinforced its organizational structure with the appointment of Nuria Enríquez Molina as the new head of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) area, as well as with the integration of the Financial Division into the previously named Administration Department, which is now called the Economic, Financial and Audit Department.

These adjustments in the structure, driven by the general management and endorsed by the Board of Directors, have been in effect since October 1, according to the cooperative in a statement.

Enríquez takes over the direction of ICT following the retirement of Amadeo Ferrer Bayarri, who had been in charge of both the Financial area and the ICT area since 2009. Consum thanks Amadeo Ferrer for "his dedication, effort, and contribution to the development of the cooperative."

The new director began her career at Consum precisely in the ICT department, where she took on programming, analysis, and demand management tasks. In 2015, she was appointed Organization Executive in the Store Management Department, a responsibility she held for a decade.

In 2025, she moved to the position of executive of the Digital Transformation Office (OTD), integrated into the Financial and ICT area. Her professional journey, linked to technology, innovation, and process optimization, provides her with a global vision of the cooperative, thanks to her experience in various management areas.

As part of this restructuring, the Financial Division is integrated into the former Administration Department, which adopts the new name of Economic, Financial and Audit Department, under the responsibility of María Sánchez Alcaraz.

After the changes, the Management Board of Consum, headed by Antonio Rodríguez Lázaro, is configured with ten departments plus the General Management.

Together with María Sánchez Alcaraz and Nuria Enríquez, the board is completed by: Lourdes Brugera Moreno, Director of Quality and Customer Service; Manuel García Álvarez, Director of Purchasing; Emilio Bermell Carrión, Director of Development; Juan Vicente Ríos Mascarell, Head of Store Management; Ricardo Marí Sanchis, in charge of Logistics; Pedro Hernández Quiroga, Director of People and Wellbeing; Javier Quiles Bodí, Director of External Relations, and Silvia Lázaro Pérez, Director of Client-Partner and Marketing.

With this new organization, Consum "strengthens its management structure to continue driving digital transformation, improve organizational efficiency, and respond to the challenges of growth and evolution of the cooperative".
