Fitur Lingua, the section focused on language tourism of the International Tourism Fair, organized together with Fedele, Spanish Federation of Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language, will celebrate its seventh edition on Thursday, January 21 in hall 2 of Ifema Madrid.
Under the slogan "Language as a multiplier effect of tourism", Fitur Lingua 2027 will examine the current situation and the forecasts for the evolution of language tourism from an international perspective, according to Ifema Madrid.
Among the main axes are sessions on the economic weight of the teaching of Spanish in Spain, the country’s external image as a destination to learn languages and the dissemination of new data related to the profile, motivations and business opportunities linked to the international student of Spanish.
The forum will bring together representatives of reference organizations and institutions, such as ICEX, Turespaña, the Education Council in Italy, the Instituto Cervantes, among others, as well as experts from international entities linked to language teaching and educational mobility.
Likewise, the evolution of global student flows, the potential of new source markets and the trends that will shape the future of the sector in the next decade will be addressed.
Along with the conference program, Fitur Lingua will set up networking spaces between sessions to promote contact among educational centers, agencies, institutions and specialized professionals.
Since its launch in 2021, Fitur Lingua has established itself as a forum focused on the potential of language as a multiplier effect of tourism, integrating learning, culture and economic development.
