Grupo Elecnor has closed the first nine months of the fiscal year with attributable net profit of 102.9 million euros, which implies an increase of 27.3% compared with the same period of the previous year, according to what the company announced this Thursday.
Gross operating profit (Ebitda) increased 16.4% year-on-year, to 215.8 million euros, driven by the good performance of the Services business (+14%, with 115.1 million euros) and the Projects area (+38.4%, with 122.1 million euros).
The group’s consolidated turnover reached 3,143.2 million euros between January and September, which represents a slight decline of 0.2% compared with the first nine months of 2025.
By geographic areas, the group’s international activity contributed 51% of total sales, while the domestic market accounted for the remaining 49%.
The executable production backlog for the next 12 months stood at 2,990.5 million euros at the end of September, an increase of 5.1% compared with the end of fiscal year 2025.
The group has underlined that these figures show a structural improvement in profitability, supported by the "strength" of Services and by the improvement in margins in Projects. Added to this is the progress toward more mature stages of execution of several projects in Latin America and in other regions, according to what the company highlighted.
All this, the company indicates, is aligned with the goals of its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, focused on raising margins and strengthening cash generation.
Performance by business divisions
In the Services area, Grupo Elecnor recorded revenue of 1,925.5 million euros through September (+14%), with an Ebitda margin on sales of 6%. Of this figure, 73.9% came from Spain and the remaining 26.1% from international markets.
In the Projects division, sales reached 1,222.6 million euros, which represents a drop of 15.7%, mainly linked to the degree of progress of certain large international contracts. The foreign business contributed 90.6% of the revenue in this area and the domestic market 9.4%, with an Ebitda margin on sales of 10%.
In the Concessions and Projects segment, Celeo –51% owned and jointly managed with the pension fund APG– obtained an Ebitda of 172.3 million euros at the end of September, 11% more in year-on-year terms (figures at 100%, before its accounting integration into the group).
In the first nine months of the year, Grupo Elecnor shares have accumulated an appreciation of 22.5%, standing at the end of September at 29.95 euros per share.
The company has specified that its cash-generation capacity and financial assets back the commitment to distribute more than 220 million euros in dividends within the three-year period contemplated in its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan.
The group has emphasized that it faces the last quarter of the fiscal year with "confidence", maintaining the focus on the "disciplined" execution of the portfolio and on value creation for shareholders.
