Keytel, the service firm for independent hotels integrated into Grupo Hotusa, announced this Wednesday the launch of a new commercial office in Bali (Indonesia). From this location, it will coordinate operations and the link with nearly 200 associated hotels spread across Southeast Asia, according to the company in a statement.
The new delegation will have a local team with experience in the sector and will act as an operational base to boost the company's expansion into other emerging markets in the region.
With this opening, Keytel's international network expands and adds to the already existing offices in destinations such as Rome, Paris, Lisbon, Cancun, Buenos Aires, Natal, and Tunis.
At this moment, Keytel's portfolio in Southeast Asia includes 173 associated hotels, located mainly in Thailand (96 establishments) and Indonesia (74 hotels), in addition to a more limited presence in Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Globally, the alliance integrates more than 3,800 hotels distributed across 90 countries.
The general director of Keytel, Xavier Cortés, explained that this opening is linked to the increase in tourist flow from Europe to Asia.
According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the air corridor between Europe and Asia experienced a year-on-year increase of 12.1% in July 2026, consolidating itself as the international route with the highest growth.
The company also emphasizes the dynamism of destinations like Vietnam, where arrivals of European tourists have risen by more than 50% in the first seven months of the year, as well as the role of Thailand and Indonesia as reference summer enclaves in Asia for the European traveler.
