Direct Line has recorded a net profit of 80.4 million euros between January and September, which represents an increase of 34.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, according to what the insurer communicated this Wednesday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
In the note sent to the supervisor, the company details that the improvement in results is supported by the growth in business volume across all its areas (Motor, Home, Health, and Others) and by the reduction of the combined ratio, favored by "a differential underwriting and the increasing efficiency in expense control."
