Mutua Madrileña, through its manager Mutuactivos AV, has launched the "Plan Ahorro Plus Fidelidad IX," a life-savings insurance that offers a guaranteed gross return of 2.90% during the first year, according to the entity itself.
The net return, once expenses are deducted, stands at 2.40% for that first year. From then on, it will be the company that determines the guaranteed interest rate, reviewing it quarterly.
This new insurance, which improves the return compared to the previous edition, can be contracted from a minimum initial contribution of 5,000 euros and allows additional contributions starting from 750 euros.
The product also includes coverage in the event of the insured's death. In that situation, the beneficiaries will receive the accumulated savings at that moment, to which an extra capital equivalent to 10% of the existing savings at the beginning of each year will be added, with a minimum amount of 150 euros and a maximum of 600 euros.
The "Plan Ahorro Plus Fidelidad IX" includes a commission of 0.50% on the mathematical provision, already included in the net return of 2.40% guaranteed for the first year. Additionally, a specific premium for the death coverage is added, the cost of which is determined based on the age of the insured.
