Nvidia's shares chained another session of strong advances this Friday, allowing the giant of microchips for AI to once again mark historical highs in the stock market and place its capitalization increasingly closer to 6 trillion dollars (5.3 trillion euros), consolidating itself as the publicly traded company with the highest value on the planet.

During the Friday session, the shares of the multinational founded and led by Jensen Juang rose by up to 3% compared to the previous close, reaching an intraday historical maximum of 237.88 dollars. This new record boosted its market value above 5.7 trillion dollars (5.05 trillion euros).

The stock market evolution of Nvidia, which has already accumulated a revaluation close to 25% since the end of July, when its capitalization fell below 5 trillion dollars and was even temporarily surpassed by Apple, has been supported by the results of Micron, which multiplied its annual profit almost tenfold, to 84.969 billion dollars (75.251 billion euros), after increasing its revenue by 256% and forecasting that the fiscal year 2027 will mark a new historical maximum for the manufacturer.

Additionally, this Monday, Nvidia itself announced that it will increase its share buyback plan by 150 billion dollars (132 billion euros), so the total amount allocated to these operations now stands at 235 billion dollars (206 billion euros).

On October 29, 2025, Nvidia became the first company in the world to reach a market capitalization of 5 trillion dollars, a milestone that so far has only been matched by Apple, although the iPhone maker achieved it last July and currently its valuation hovers around 4.8 trillion dollars (4.3 trillion euros).

Likewise, Nvidia had already established itself in July 2025 as the first company to reach 4 trillion dollars (3.6 trillion euros), after surpassing the threshold of 3 trillion dollars (2.7 trillion euros) in June 2024 and 2 trillion dollars (1.8 trillion euros) in February 2024, after achieving the trillion dollars for the first time in May 2023.
