The secretary general of UGT, Pepe Álvarez, has expressed his regret over the serious railway accident recorded early this Wednesday in the province of Toledo, in which a Renfe AVE and an Iryo train were involved.
"At these very hard times, all my solidarity with the victims, their families, the injured and all our support for the emergency services and railway workers," Álvarez has indicated in a message on his social networks collected by Europa Press.
The accident has caused at least 30 deaths, according to the latest official tally provided by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha.
