How much does it cost to fill the tank this Wednesday

The rise in gasoline slightly increases the cost of filling a tank. With gasoline 95 at 1.796 euros per liter, refueling 50 liters costs 89.80 euros. In the case of gasoline 98, the same volume amounts to 98.75 euros.

The drop in diesel allows an equivalent tank to be slightly cheaper. Filling 50 liters of diesel A costs 89.05 euros, while diesel A+ raises the expenditure to 93.45 euros.

Fuel Price per liter 50-liter tank
Gasoline 95 1.796 € 89.80 €
Gasoline 98 1.975 € 98.75 €
Diesel A 1.781 € 89.05 €
Diesel A+ 1.869 € 93.45 €

The difference between gasoline 95 and diesel A now stands at 0.015 euros per liter. In a 50-liter tank, using gasoline 95 means 75 cents more than refueling diesel A.

Gasoline 95 now costs more than diesel

The most striking change this Wednesday is found in the relationship between the two most used fuels. Gasoline 95 is at 1.796 euros per liter, while diesel A is at 1.781 euros. Gasoline thus becomes 1.5 cents more expensive per liter than diesel.

The situation is different from that recorded on Tuesday, when diesel A reached 1.782 euros and gasoline 95 was at 1.791 euros. Then diesel was nine tenths of a cent cheaper per liter; one day later, the distance has widened to 1.5 cents, but with gasoline above.

Premium fuels also evolve in different directions

Gasoline 98 continues to be the fuel with the highest price among the four main ones and reaches this Wednesday 1.975 euros per liter. Its price increases four thousandths compared to Tuesday.

Diesel A+, for its part, drops to 1.869 euros per liter. The difference between both premium fuels is 10.6 cents per liter, so filling 50 liters means a difference of 5.30 euros.

The average price does not necessarily match that of the pump

The prices used correspond to the average RRP recorded in the Peninsula and Balearic Islands. They do not represent a single rate for all service stations, as each gas station may offer a different price.

The differences between establishments depend on factors such as location, operator, and the level of competition existing in each area. Therefore, the national average price allows for understanding the general evolution, but the final amount paid by each driver depends on the chosen station.

Gasoline rises again at the beginning of September

The second day of September thus maintains an uneven evolution for the main fuels. Gasoline 95 chains a new increase and reaches 1.796 euros per liter, while diesel A records a slight decrease to 1.781 euros.

The result is that gasoline regains a more expensive position than diesel in the national average price. For a 50-liter tank, the difference is still small, but it already means 75 cents more when refueling gasoline 95 than diesel A.
