S&P Global Ratings has assigned Sacyr a corporate credit rating of "BBB-" as a long-term debt issuer, with a "stable" outlook, which implies that the company is now part of the "Investment Grade" category.

This is the first time Sacyr has obtained a rating from S&P, as the company itself recalls in a statement, where it emphasizes that this achievement "recognizes the transformation of its business model, its financial strength, and its evolution towards an increasingly concessional and international profile."

The agency bases its decision on the high contribution of the concessional business, on the vertical integration between its concessional capabilities and the Engineering and Infrastructure area, as well as on the visibility and stability of cash flows, which come from a diversified portfolio of long-term assets.

Furthermore, S&P highlights that this portfolio is mainly composed of projects structured around availability payments, which provides greater stability and reduces exposure to demand-related risk.

This S&P note adds to the "BBB (minus)" rating, with a "stable" trend, that Morningstar DBRS granted to the company in October 2025.

"Sacyr thus consolidates its position within the 'Investment Grade' category, with the inclusion of S&P in the group of agencies that rate the company within this category, and reinforces the external recognition of the strength of its business model and financial strategy, advancing in the fulfillment of the objectives set in the Strategic Plan 2024-2027," concludes the company.
