SpaceX recorded a net profit attributed of 4.404 billion dollars (3.926 billion euros) in the third quarter of 2026, leaving behind the "red numbers" of 1.054 billion dollars (940 million euros) noted between July and September of the previous fiscal year, according to a statement made by the company founded by Elon Musk this Tuesday.

With these figures, in the first nine months of the year, the company specialized in rocket launches, satellite communications, and AI reduced its losses by 58%, totaling 1.084 billion dollars (966 million euros).

SpaceX's revenue in the quarter amounted to 14.575 billion dollars (12.992 billion euros), representing a 161% increase year-on-year. This advance was supported by a 6% increase in the space business, which contributed 1.767 billion dollars (1.575 billion euros), and, above all, by the strong pull of the connectivity area, where Starlink is integrated, with revenues of 5.248 billion dollars (4.678 billion euros), a 69.4% increase.

In detail, Starlink raised its subscriber base to 13.6 million at the end of the quarter, compared to 12 million in the immediately previous period and 7.2 million a year earlier. The average revenue per user (ARPU) stood at 69 dollars, 4.5% above the second quarter of 2026, although still 17% below the 83 dollars recorded twelve months earlier.

At the same time, SpaceX's AI division reached a revenue figure of 7.560 billion dollars (6.739 billion euros) in the quarter, almost nine times higher than a year earlier (+830%), driven by the acquisition of Cursor, the launch of new cloud service contracts, and greater adoption of Grok among corporate clients and end users.

In parallel, the estimated capital expenditure by the company for the period from July to September soared by 185% year-on-year, reaching 19.593 billion dollars (17.465 billion euros).

Thus, in the first three quarters of 2026, SpaceX's revenue totaled 27.083 billion dollars (24.141 billion euros), a 97.5% increase compared to January and September of the previous year, while the accumulated Capex in that same interval reached 48.069 billion dollars (42.848 billion euros), a 247% increase compared to September 2025.

"We had another solid quarter in the third quarter," noted SpaceX's Chief Financial Officer, Bret Johnsen, who emphasized the "impressive" 161% increase in revenue, supported by the connectivity business "and a clear turning point in the Super Intelligence business."

In the markets, SpaceX's shares, which had closed Tuesday's session with a slight decline of 0.11%, were up nearly 5% in after-hours trading following the company's results being published.
