The Minister of Health, Manuela García, will appear next Tuesday in the plenary session of the Parlament to respond on various matters in her department. She will do so in a session marked by the absence of the president of the Govern, Marga Prohens, and of the ministers of Tourism and Agriculture, Jaume Bauzá and Joan Simonet, who will be in London to attend the tourism fair World Travel Market.
The plenary session will likely begin at 10:00 a.m. with the oath or promise of Javier Ripoll as the new Vox deputy in the Chamber, following the death of parliamentarian María José Verdú.
Next, the session of control of the Govern will be held. The spokespersons of MÉS per Mallorca and Vox, Lluís Apesteguia and Manuela Cañadas, will focus their questions on the regional budgets, while the spokesperson of the PSIB, Iago Negueruela, will direct his intervention to the situation of vulnerable groups.
In the battery of Socialist questions there are also issues about water reserves, democratic memory, the Llull system --the new communication platform of the Conselleria de Educación y Universidades--, the organization of emergencies, housing and industrial policy.
For its part, Vox will question the Executive about the PSOE and Frente Amplio electoral pacts and about the anti-squatting office. MÉS per Mallorca will bring to the plenary a debate on youth emancipation. The deputy for Formentera will raise the care of migrant minors and Més per Menorca will focus on the situation of the 0-3 educators collective.
In her appearance, the head of Health will have to detail the degree of compliance with several points of non-legislative proposals relating to the improvement of services for people with ELA in Menorca, as well as health and psychosocial care for people with Borderline Personality Disorder.
The agenda also includes the debate of a non-legislative proposal by Més per Menorca on socio-health infrastructures on the island and another initiative by the PSIB aimed at defending the public pension system.
